Catherine Kusasira Offers water and Donates Land Cruiser v8 for COVID-19 Outbreak.
Amid last week, President Museveni asked well-wishers to provide their cars through the National Task Force on COVID-19. Certainly, this was to aid in transporting health workers, the sick and commodities during this pandemic times.
Uganda’s female singer Catherine Kusasira is the first celebrity to offer her car for this cause. Moreover, she gave out a Land Cruiser V8, which was given to her by Yoweri Museveni some time ago. The vehicle will be used to transport sick and pregnant women within the Makindye area.
Similarly, Catherine Kusasira donated over 500 boxes of mineral water to be distributed to COVID-19 patients and health workers. Above all, Catherine had a word for the nation and the world at large. “I ask everyone out there, we should stay home as the government advised us to. This looks like your freedom is being infringed on but it is for your own benefit. Let us stay at home so that we can meet again alive.”
Finally, Catherine also apologized for her recent remarks when she mentioned that the government ought to compensate musicians and artists because of the canceled shows.
