William Ruto crying at his Karen home ahead of the August 2022 Kenya general elections.
It’s not the first time that Dr. William Samoei Ruto breaks down in tears in a public. On the 2nd of August 2022, 6 days before the general elections, William Ruto hosted prayers at his Karen home in Nairobi. During the mutual prayer service, William Ruto breaks down in tears at his Karen home in an astonishing manner.

It’s still unclear why a country’s leader like Ruto would be so emotional to the extent of shedding tears. Certainly, Kenyans are curious as to why a heroic leader like William Ruto was crying at his Karen home ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Is it because of fears of losing the elections? Is it because the road to Raila Odinga’s Bondo home is speedily under construction before the 2022 Kenya election results? Or is it that he’s upset because all of the electoral outcomes are unpredictable, or untrustworthy? If that’s the case, then it’s good to know that some things are indomitable in life.

The prayer service at Ruto’s home in Karen was led by Bishop Mark Kariuki of Deliverance Church International. Besides, the service was also attended by different leaders of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Party of Kenya.

William Ruto’s last speech before the 2022 Kenya electoral dates

We believe in a united country and we want peace for our nation. I want to ask Kenyans from all walks of life, from both sides of the political divide to be peaceful so that we can work together as Kenyans and know that after the election, God’s will shall prevail and we will walk together as a united nation.

If you don’t show up to vote, you should not complain when wrong people are elected. This election is more of a spiritual battle than a political battle, and that is why we have all manner of things that are going on today.

Other presidential candidates in the Kenya 2022 elections are Prof George Wajackoya (Roots Party) and David Waihiga Mwaure (Agano Party).

Lastly, it’s good to note that since the year 2020, William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta have been accusing one another. For example, Ruto has been accusing Uhuru Kenyatta of disappreciation, while Uhuru accuses him of deception and power-hungry.
