Huduma Namba Kits Stolen in Nairobi 2019. According to latest reports, at least 4 suspects have been arrested following theft of huduma namba kits. As a result, they appeared at Milimani Law Courts for allegedly stealing Huduma Namba registration gadgets. Even more, they appeared before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi. As a result, they were charged with different charges of theft.
Furthermore, Timothy Kiswii Mutunga and Samuel Wanjohi Murithi were each charged with stealing a tablet worth Ksh.35,000. Also, Boniface Ngate Ongoma was charged with stealing a tablet and a charger worth Ksh.38,000. Again, Adams Mulati Mwasame was accused of stealing two tablets worth Ksh.70,000.
The cases were heard in court on April 23 2019, and above all, the four suspects gained access to the Government Press offices. Even more, they illegally personalized the instruments of huduma namba under the guise of installing software.
As well, the suspects were also charged with an additional count of handling stolen goods contrary to the law.
However, they denied the charges and were released on a cash bail of Ksh.30,000 or Ksh.50,000 bond.
Finally, the case will be mentioned in court on May 6th 2019.
