Kirinyaga Man Kills Himself in Hospital Washroom. According to the latest reports, a man from Kirinyaga County killed himself while receiving treatment at Kerugoya Referral Hospital. Solomon Murage Kaburi, 40 years old, was admitted to Kerugoya hospital after he chopped off his left hand.

However, the patient also made attempts to detach the healing hand while in the hospital. This is according to one of the medics in the hospital. First, it’s still unclear why the Kirinyaga man chopped off his hand and later committed suicide. On the other hand, his sister disclosed that Solomon was so much stressed before chopping off his hand.

Kirinyaga Central OCPD Doreen Oduor affirmed the saga of Solomon who had attempted to kill himself while at home. It’s not the first time we hear reports of a man from Kirinyaga County having committed suicide. For example, in November 2019, a middle-aged man in Kirinyaga County committed suicide within a church premise or compound.

In contrast, Solomon Murage hanged himself in the washroom using a medical intravenous instrument.

Solomon’s body is currently at the Kerugoya County Referral Hospital mortuary. Meanwhile, police have launched investigations following the death of Solomon Murage. More news to follow.
