Precious Talents Top School Owner Moses Wainaina Arrested.

According to the latest reports reaching our newsroom, the owner of Precious Talents Top School was arrested by Police. Mr. Moses Wainaina was arrested on Thursday, September 26, in Nairobi following the death of at least 8 pupils. Certainly, Moses Wainaina shall appear in court on Friday 27th September over the tragedy.

Why Precious Talents Top School Owner Moses Wainaina was Arrested

Previously, Moses Wainaina blamed the Nairobi county government over the collapse of the school. Rather, he accused the administration of destabilizing the grounds near the school following the sewer line construction tasks. However, the police primary n’t let him walk freely after the incident. This followed orders by the government after the closure of the private primary school. Above all, over 30 pupils were hospitalized for medical care. For example, Kenyatta National Hospital, Mbagathi Hospital (Ngumo estate) and many more top-ranked health care facilities in Nairobi County.

Through Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, all pupils who had been enrolled in the school shall be relocated to neighboring schools. In addition, Magoha pointed out that the school was authorized to only admit 340 pupils. As a result, the school violated the protocols since it had enrolled over 800 pupils. Even more, during the time that the school collapsed, there were over 700 pupils in the school. Below is Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha statement;

“The high enrollment and lack of safe physical facilities with non-compliance of qualified teaching staff, sanitation facilities thus render the registration facility null and void.
This condition did not warrant the existence of the school and is thus recommended for revocation of certificate and closure.”
