K24 media house journalist Daniel Chemjor dies after an accident that happened on Wednesday night. According to reports, the car that the journalist was driving plunged into Cheploch Valley along River Kerio near Baringo county.
The process of retrieving the car was initiated on Wednesday night, 20th November 2019. However, the rescue mission was postponed till the following day due to darkness. This prompted an early morning kickoff of the whole task after a multi-agency company assigned the duty. As a result, Daniel Chemjor’s body and the car were retrieved.

Certainly, Chemjor’s car drifted off road slamming a guard barrier before dipping into the valley. Journalist Chemjor was on leave heading to Kabarnet from Eldoret to see his newborn infant when the horrible tragedy transpired.

“Daniel Chemjor was highly respected by managers and employees alike throughout the entire company. He was regarded as a dedicated worker by everyone who worked with him. His contributions to the company were many and varied.
I am well aware of the difference he made in the lives of many people, both here in the company and his private life. Many will miss him.
Each of us not only grieves at the passing of Chemjor, who was with no doubt a tremendous individual but also for the loss his family has suffered.”
