Recently, Nuru Okanga shared with the public about his education or educational background. This is after revealing that he is a primary school dropout, like 2 decades ago.
Speaking to Ugwire Media Networks after the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary School Education (KCPE) examination results, Nuru Okanga told us that he left school in class three after his father’s death.
“I dropped out in class three. My father died when I was very young, and he had married many wives. There were many kids. My mother could not manage to educate us and provide food at the same time.”
According to Nuru Okanga, his primary school teacher was unhappy when he dropped out of school. This is because he believed that Nuru Okanga was a bright child, with a bright future.
Even though Nuru Okanga tried to seek assistance from the school principal during that time, there was no help.
“When I reached class three, it was the school uniform and books that caused me to drop out. I excelled in school; I have been bright since time immemorial. When I dropped out, the head teacher wept bitterly,” he narrated.
Additionally, there have been many rumors that he sat for the 2023 KCPE and Nuru Okanga results were 401 out of 500.
However, we are yet to ascertain whether this is true or propaganda news. Meanwhile, Nuru Okanga said that he stands by news doing rounds on social media about his KCPE results. He further said that he sat for the exams at Mumias Muslim Primary School in Kakamega County.
