The list of the Top 10 best KCSE Secondary or high Schools and the students/ candidates in 2020 is out. The Cabinet Secretary for Education Professor George Magoha, released the KCSE results on Wednesday 18th December 2019 at KNEC Headquarters Nairobi. During the national event, Magoha remarked on the performance improvements as compared to the previous years. Below is a part of the statement by the Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha.
“The performance of this year’s KCSE was better than in previous years. 627 students scored A plain compared to last year’s 315 students. 5,796 got A minus compared to last year’s 3,418.”
“As proof that our reforms are coming of age, today I will be releasing results that show marked improvement in performance compared to those of the last three years. This is indeed a confirmation that our teachers are now preparing candidates better and that the learners themselves can now engage in studies knowing well that their performance depends on individual input.”
