Evelyne Anite, is the Minister for Privatisation and Investment in the Republic of Uganda. According to the reports, Evelyne Anite is currently out of the country. As such, numerous debates have erupted concerning her absence. For example, some reports have it that she was quietly told to hand over the office to Minister David Bahati but for Evelyne, that is not the case.
On 28th of June, Anite had written to the Speaker of Parliament saying she’s undertaking a Global Masters of Arts Program in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University in the United States where she is was expecting to attend her classes from July 5 to 28 August 2018.
Below is the statement that was written by Uganda Minister Evelyne Anite;
“I am scheduled to attend class for my Masters Degree from July 5 to 28 August 2018. The purpose of this letter is to inform you and to request permission to take leave from Parliament to enable me attend class for my Masters Degree. During my absence, Hon David Bahati will hold my portfolio.”
