In this article, we shall educate you on all the Diploma and Certificate courses offered at the Makerere Business Institute in Uganda in 2023.
First of all, Makerere Business Institute was established in 1993 as a private business training center. The aim was to enable graduates to become competent in the business industry by nurturing them with extra business skills. Hence, this was positively accepted by the government to boost the business community and economic growth. Besides, Makerere Business Institute aims at imparting practical skills to learners to facilitate employment opportunities.
Over the years, Makerere Business Institute has enhanced such that it has three program departments. These include:-

- ICT Department, as well as
- The Journalism Department.
Certainly, Makerere Business Institute is an approved learning institution to offer Diplomas, certificates as well as short courses. In other words, MBI is fully accredited by Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board, as well as the National Council for Higher Education.
