According to the husband of Mariam Kighenda, Elvin their son hadn’t been acquainted with the ongoing saga in Likoni. Further, that the news topping headlines in Kenya and globally concern his beloved mother and younger sister.
Son Elvin Reaction After Mother’s Death in Likoni Tragedy
Rather, upon learning that his lovely mother and young sister were no more, Elvin has since been traumatized. Certainly, the Kenya Red Cross staffers had to step in in order to soothe and calm the lad. This follows after the mother and daughter mishap that occurred in Likoni Indian Ocean waters that are still missing.
Below is what John Wambua said following his son’s awareness about the mishap.
“I broke the news to my son on Friday and since then it has been tough for him. It is a healing process.”
According to reports, the lad has been wailing ever since he saw pictures of his mommy and minor sister, Amanda, doing around on TV. As a result, Elvin has been undergoing counseling sessions since 4th October 2019 to date. Of course, the father is as well the most stressed and disturbed man as of now but he is indeed a strong man indeed. May God shower him with protection and strength especially during these hard times of life.

Wambua further added by saying this;
“I have stood firm in my faith. The only blood I believe was shed to save a life was that of Jesus. I have turned down such overtures,” said Wambua.
On the other hand, family and friends have since been holding prayer sessions at Wambua’s homestead. This has been in support by the worshipers from Winners Chapel Church of Kenya.
